Zepbound in Arizona

Zepbound is not purchased at Gentle Health. Patients in Arizona first request an online clinical evaluation; a licensed doctor may prescribe after reviewing their history and may use video. The prescription then goes to LillyDirect Pharmacy, where the patient pays for the product. Gentle Health’s $28-per-month care fee begins only if a prescription is written. Messaging and video visits are part of that fee, and no prescription is promised.

Compare the continuing bill, not only the introductory offer. As checked October 19, 2026, our brand-care comparison lists Ro and Hims & Hers at $149 a month for ongoing month-to-month care, with a $39 opening month at each. Ro also offers a less expensive annual prepaid equivalent. Gentle Health’s doctor-care charge for Arizona patients is $28 monthly; the pharmacy’s Zepbound charge is separate.

Starting care in Arizona

In Arizona, a licensed physician reviews your medical intake online and decides whether a video visit is needed. You can ask for a video visit. The doctor considers your medical history, other medicines and the Zepbound label before deciding; an online form alone does not establish that the medicine is right for you in Arizona. Gentle Health serves adults 18 and older.

James Simmons, MD, holds Arizona medical license 82062. Check that number with the Arizona Medical Board before you start. Our service covers eligible adults in Phoenix, Tucson, Mesa, Chandler and other communities in Arizona; the Arizona Zepbound service page has the local service details.

Zepbound vial and KwikPen prices for Arizona

For Zepbound vials or KwikPens, LillyDirect counted a month as 28 days when we checked on October 19, 2026. Its self-pay terms showed $299 at 2.5 mg, $399 at 5 mg, and a conditional $449 at 7.5–15 mg for a four-week fill. That last price needs the 45-day refill window; an Arizona buyer otherwise sees $499 at 7.5 mg or $699 at 10–15 mg.

Our $28 doctor-care charge is monthly, while the Zepbound medicine has its own pharmacy bill. For Arizona patients, care includes messages and video visits with no prepayment, minimum term or per-visit fee. We start charging only after a prescription is written, and you can cancel any time. Gentle Health does not sell or ship the medication. Needles or syringes are bought separately.

If the doctor prescribes a vial, you draw its single weekly Zepbound dose with a purchased needle and syringe. A KwikPen instead holds four weekly doses and uses a new pen needle for each injection. For an Arizona buyer, LillyDirect’s listed cash prices match across the two. The insurance-only one-dose autoinjector is not a device we prescribe; see our vial versus KwikPen article.

Insurance and public-program choices in Arizona

Do not assume the manufacturer’s advertised cash offer beats your Arizona insurance benefit. Have your plan check the specific Zepbound form, any prior-approval step and your out-of-pocket charge. Gentle Health does not bill that plan or manage authorization requests.

If you use Arizona Medicaid, check your plan’s current Zepbound criteria directly; a manufacturer’s cash price does not establish Medicaid coverage or reimbursement.

Medicare eligibility is not the same as paying our cash price. CMS describes a GLP-1 Bridge running from July 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027, for beneficiaries who meet its clinical and plan-approval requirements. For weight management it lists Zepbound KwikPen, not the vial with a $50 copay. Arizona patients should confirm approval with their plan; the CMS provider explanation was updated August 6, 2026.

The prescription and refill path in Arizona

Once the Arizona doctor’s Zepbound prescription reaches LillyDirect Pharmacy, its dispensing partner sends a checkout link by text or email. Lilly’s FAQ asks for at least 3–5 business days of verification time; most orders then ship within 1–4 days after checkout, with free home delivery. Those are estimates rather than delivery promises. See our online Zepbound guide for the steps.

The price at Zepbound’s higher strengths can change even if the dose does not. To retain $449 at 7.5–15 mg, the next purchase must happen within 45 days after the last delivery. Missing it raises a fill by $50 at 7.5 mg or $250 at 10–15 mg for an Arizona buyer. The doctor must write a fresh order for any dose adjustment; our guide covers the handoff.

Zepbound is FDA-approved for adult weight management under the conditions in its prescribing information. For an Arizona patient, the doctor also checks contraindications, including personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN2. The 2.5 mg dose is a starting dose, not a maintenance dose. Gentle Health is not affiliated with Eli Lilly.

Our Arizona GLP-1 guide discusses compounded treatment separately. Compounded tirzepatide is not FDA-approved and is not a generic or equivalent version of Zepbound.

Frequently asked questions

Can I start Zepbound care online in Arizona? In Arizona, a licensed physician reviews your medical intake online and decides whether a video visit is needed. The doctor decides whether to prescribe; approval is not automatic.

What does Zepbound cost before our care fee? As of October 19, 2026, LillyDirect lists $299 for the four-week 2.5 mg starting supply. Gentle Health doctor care is $28 a month on top.

How does the 45-day refill offer work? At 7.5–15 mg, the $449 price requires the next purchase within 45 days after the prior delivery; otherwise the regular dose price applies.
