Foundayo in Pennsylvania

For an adult in Pennsylvania, obtaining Foundayo begins with a doctor deciding whether it fits the patient’s health needs. Gentle Health offers that review online, with messaging and video visits included. If the doctor prescribes, LillyDirect Pharmacy fills the order and charges separately for the medicine. Our care costs $28 monthly, starting only after a prescription is written; approval is never automatic.

A $39 first month does not describe the ongoing doctor-care cost at Ro or Hims & Hers. Their month-to-month rate was $149 at each practice when our comparison page was checked October 19, 2026. Ro’s year-paid-in-advance option has a lower monthly equivalent. In Pennsylvania, Gentle Health care is $28 each month, and Foundayo itself is purchased separately from the pharmacy.

Starting care in Pennsylvania

In Pennsylvania, a licensed physician reviews your medical intake online and decides whether a video visit is needed. You can ask for a video visit. The doctor considers your medical history, other medicines and the Foundayo label before deciding; an online form alone does not establish that the medicine is right for you in Pennsylvania. Gentle Health serves adults 18 and older.

James Simmons, MD, holds Pennsylvania medical license MD496905. Check that number with the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine before you start. Our service covers eligible adults in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Allentown, Reading and other communities in Pennsylvania; the current Pennsylvania service page has the local service details.

There is no automatic approval for Foundayo in Pennsylvania. If the doctor prescribes, follow-up questions, dose decisions, messaging and video visits are part of the monthly care. If the doctor does not prescribe, the brand-care fee does not start.

Foundayo tablet price and dose steps for Pennsylvania

When planning Foundayo care in Pennsylvania, allow time for dose steps. The first daily strength is 0.8 mg for at least 30 days, according to the label; it then moves to 2.5 mg. Subsequent increases are at least 30 days apart. Options are 0.8, 2.5, 5.5, 9, 14.5 and 17.2 mg, and tablets may be taken with or without food. The doctor, not the offer, sets the dose.

Foundayo’s self-pay charge changes with the prescribed strength. On October 19, 2026, LillyDirect showed $149 for 0.8 or 2.5 mg, $199 for 5.5 mg, $299 for 9 mg, and $299 for 14.5 or 17.2 mg when the 45-day refill condition is satisfied. Without that last offer, the two highest doses are $349. The lower 2.5- and 5.5-mg prices run only through December 31, 2026. Our Foundayo cost guide explains the schedule for Pennsylvania readers.

Gentle Health provides the prescription evaluation and follow-up, not the Foundayo product. Our fee is $28 per month for Pennsylvania patients after prescribing; the pharmacy charges for the medicine separately. Messages and video care are included, without advance payment, an extra visit fee or a minimum term. You can cancel at any time.

Insurance and public-program choices in Pennsylvania

Do not assume the manufacturer’s advertised cash offer beats your Pennsylvania insurance benefit. Have your plan check the specific Foundayo form, any prior-approval step and your out-of-pocket charge. Gentle Health does not bill that plan or manage authorization requests.

If you use Pennsylvania Medicaid, check your plan’s current Foundayo criteria directly; a manufacturer’s cash price does not establish Medicaid coverage or reimbursement.

For Medicare in Pennsylvania, first ask whether the plan will approve the temporary GLP-1 Bridge. Its listed weight-management product for this article is Foundayo tablets; an eligible beneficiary’s copay is $50. The program lasts from July 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027, subject to clinical requirements. This is distinct from Gentle Health self-pay care. CMS last modified its provider guidance August 6, 2026.

From a Pennsylvania prescription to LillyDirect delivery

A Pennsylvania prescription for Foundayo is routed to LillyDirect Pharmacy if the doctor decides to prescribe. Watch for a text or email from its dispensing partner to complete purchase. The manufacturer’s FAQ estimates 3–5 business days or more for prescription verification and 1–4 days from checkout to shipment for most orders, with free delivery. It does not guarantee those times; see the LillyDirect guide.

The price difference for Foundayo’s 14.5- and 17.2-mg fills is tied to a 45-day refill window after the last delivery: $299 inside it, $349 outside it. If a Pennsylvania patient needs a different dose, our doctor must issue a new prescription. Pharmacy staff cannot change it because the offer is ending.

Foundayo is FDA-approved for adult weight management under the conditions in its prescribing information, not for type 2 diabetes. The Pennsylvania doctor reviews relevant risks and other medicines; Foundayo is contraindicated with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN2. Gentle Health is not affiliated with Eli Lilly.
