Wegovy in Washington

In Washington, Gentle Health can evaluate adults for Wegovy online, but our practice does not supply the medicine. A doctor reviews the request and chooses whether to prescribe; video visits and messaging are included in our care. A qualifying prescription is sent to NovoCare Pharmacy for a separate purchase. The doctor’s fee is $28 each month only after prescribing. Not every evaluation results in a prescription.

For Wegovy in Washington, doctor care and the medicine are different line items. Our dated comparison shows $28 per month for Gentle Health care, against ongoing month-to-month care at $149 with Ro or Hims & Hers on October 19, 2026. Each rival advertised $39 initially; Ro’s annual prepayment option changes its effective monthly cost. None of those care fees includes the brand medicine.

Starting care in Washington

In Washington, a licensed physician reviews your medical intake online and decides whether a video visit is needed. You can ask for a video visit. The doctor considers your medical history, other medicines and the Wegovy label before deciding; an online form alone does not establish that the medicine is right for you in Washington. Gentle Health serves adults 18 and older.

NovoCare Wegovy pen prices for Washington

For a Washington patient paying NovoCare directly, the usual 28-day Wegovy pen price is $349, regardless of whether the prescribed strength is 0.25 or 2.4 mg. Four single-dose pens come in a fill. Eligible new patients can get their first two 0.25- or 0.5-mg fills for $199 each, then pay $349 on the next one. These were the posted terms on October 19, 2026.

NovoCare separately lists Wegovy HD 7.2 mg at $399 per 28-day fill under its savings offer, checked October 23, 2026. Gentle Health can prescribe that higher-dose pen when clinically appropriate.

For a Washington resident, the Wegovy starter promotion has two deadlines: NovoCare must receive a written prescription by December 31, 2026, and ship by January 31, 2027. Only qualifying new patients’ first two 0.25- or 0.5-mg pen fills can be $199. The standard price follows. Verify terms when buying. We prescribe the pen, not the Wegovy pill.

For doctor care in Washington, the ongoing charge is $28 monthly once a prescription is written. It includes messaging and video without per-visit charges. You do not prepay or commit to a minimum number of months, and cancellation can happen at any time. Wegovy itself is purchased from the dispensing pharmacy, not sold, shipped or dispensed by Gentle Health.

Insurance and public-program choices in Washington

For Washington patients with commercial coverage, the relevant comparison is the plan’s actual Wegovy copay and rules versus self-pay. Ask whether the prescribed form is covered and which pharmacy must fill it. We provide self-pay doctor care and do not handle the insurance claim or prior authorization.

Washington Apple Health’s February 2026 Wegovy policy excludes weight-loss treatment; it sets separate routes for cardiovascular-risk reduction and MASH. State program source. Check your own plan’s current criteria; a manufacturer’s cash price does not establish Medicaid coverage or reimbursement.

The CMS provider guide names the Wegovy injection among the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge options for weight management. Eligible people pay a $50 copay only after meeting clinical and plan-approval rules. The Bridge operates July 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027; CMS marked the page modified August 6, 2026. A Washington reader should not confuse this Medicare route with our separately billed self-pay care.

The Wegovy pen and pharmacy handoff in Washington

For Wegovy in Washington, the prescribed dose and the cash offer are separate questions. The FDA label starts the single-use, built-in-needle pen at 0.25 mg each week. Usual four-week steps take it to 0.5, 1 and 1.7 mg; maintenance can be 1.7 or 2.4 mg, with 2.4 mg recommended. Only the doctor chooses the patient’s dose plan. For adult weight reduction, the current Wegovy label also permits 7.2 mg once weekly after at least four weeks at 2.4 mg when additional weight reduction is clinically indicated; the doctor decides whether to use it.

For a Washington Wegovy patient, prescribing comes before NovoCare’s checkout message. The pharmacy may need a few days to process the order, then sends a text so you can create an account, pay and select pickup or free delivery. NovoCare gives no single guaranteed delivery time on its Wegovy page. A changed strength needs a fresh prescription; see our NovoCare steps.

The Wegovy pen is FDA-approved for weight management in adults with obesity or adults with overweight and a weight-related condition, alongside diet and activity. The Washington doctor checks your history and other medicines; the label warns about thyroid C-cell tumors and contraindicates use with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN2. Gentle Health is not affiliated with Novo Nordisk.
