Tirzepatide injections may contain nothing added or a B vitamin; semaglutide injections contain a B vitamin. Your doctor recommends the medication, form, and dose that fit your health history and goals.

1. BadgerCare Plus: Covered with prior authorization, and if you qualify it will cost you a few dollars a month rather than what we charge. Since July 1, 2026 (ForwardHealth Update 2026-15) Zepbound and Foundayo are the preferred weight-management drugs; Saxenda, phentermine and orlistat are no longer covered, and Wegovy is limited to heart-risk reduction, MASH, and teenagers aged 12 to 17. Qualifying means a BMI of 30 or more, or 27 to 29.9 with two weight-related risk factors, plus agreeing to follow a reduced-calorie diet and increase physical activity.
2. Medicare: Coverage may still be possible through the federal GLP-1 Bridge: a $50 copay for Wegovy, Zepbound or Foundayo through December 31, 2027, for Part D enrollees with a BMI of 35 or more, or lower with specific heart, stroke, artery, blood-pressure, kidney or prediabetes conditions. Type 2 diabetes, moderate-to-severe sleep apnea and MASH are covered through regular Part D instead.

An online review is enough, within a limit Wisconsin writes down. Med 24.03 allows the physician-patient relationship to be formed through telemedicine, and asynchronous review is inside Wisconsin's statutory definition of it — but Med 24.07(2) provides that a prescription based only on a static electronic questionnaire does not meet the standard of minimally competent medical practice. So the form is where it starts, not where it ends: a doctor reads your intake, and a video visit is always available if either of you wants one.

Only with a Wisconsin licence. Wis. Stat. § 450.065(1) bars an out-of-state pharmacy from shipping into Wisconsin without one from the Pharmacy Examining Board, and Wisconsin's compounding chapter (Phar 15) adopts the USP standards for sterile and non-sterile compounding by reference.
