Upfront pricing
Your monthly price depends on the program and dose your doctor prescribes. The price you see is the whole price — no membership fees, shipping fees, or added taxes. The cost is billed monthly. There is a two-month minimum commitment when you start: you're billed when you start and again one month later, because we send two months or more (depending on your dose) of medication at a time to save on refrigerated overnight shipping costs. After each refill, you can cancel 30 days after you request it. HSA and FSA cards are accepted.

GLP-1 telehealth in New Hampshire: how it works.
Telehealth rules vary by state, and so does how our service works. Here is exactly what to expect in New Hampshire — with the public records to verify our licensure.
- In New Hampshire, a licensed physician reviews your medical intake online and decides whether a video visit is needed.
- James Simmons, MD is licensed to practice in New Hampshire (license 40087). Verify it yourself with the New Hampshire Board of Medicine (Office of Professional Licensure and Certification).
Law and coverage answers checked against primary sources on September 14, 2026.
Can I get a GLP-1 prescription online in New Hampshire?
Yes. You complete a short medical intake online, and a doctor licensed in New Hampshire personally reviews it — no video visit needed (you can book one if you want it). If treatment is appropriate for you, your prescription is filled by a licensed US pharmacy and shipped overnight to your door anywhere in New Hampshire. You don't need to visit a clinic to start treatment.
How much does GLP-1 treatment cost in New Hampshire?
Our semaglutide program starts at $112/month (once-daily oral drops) or $135/month (weekly injections). Tirzepatide starts at $169/month. The price includes the medication itself, your doctor visits, ongoing medical supervision, and overnight refrigerated shipping. There is no membership fee, and the intake and your doctor's first review or visit are free: you pay nothing until you choose to start medication.
Do you take insurance?
Not at this time. We charge one all-in monthly price with the medication, doctor visits, and shipping included, so there is no prior authorization. HSA and FSA cards are accepted at checkout, and we provide itemized receipts and a Letter of Medical Necessity on request.
Which medications do you prescribe?
Compounded semaglutide (the active ingredient in Wegovy and Ozempic), available as once-daily oral drops or a weekly injection, and compounded tirzepatide (the active ingredient in Zepbound and Mounjaro) as a weekly injection. Tirzepatide injections may contain nothing added or a B vitamin; semaglutide injections contain a B vitamin. Your doctor recommends the medication, form, and dose that fit your health history and goals.
Who prescribes my medication?
James Simmons, MD, our medical director, is licensed in New Hampshire and board-certified in emergency medicine (ABEM). He personally reviews your intake, meets with you over video when either of you wants a visit, and supervises your treatment over time.
Where in New Hampshire do you serve?
All of New Hampshire. Care is fully online and medication ships overnight statewide, so care is the same whether you're in Manchester, Nashua, Concord, Derry, or a town without a weight-management clinic nearby.
Does Medicare or New Hampshire Medicaid cover this?
Not through Gentle Health. We do not bill Medicare, New Hampshire Medicaid or private insurance, and everyone pays the prices shown on this page. To pursue coverage instead you would need a provider who accepts your plan and prescribes a medication it covers — the FDA-approved brands, not a compounded preparation. Where each programme stands:
- New Hampshire Medicaid: Not covered for weight loss, and the exclusion is explicit: the first criterion on the weight-management policy is that the medication requested is not a GLP-1 receptor agonist.
- Medicare: Coverage may still be possible through the federal GLP-1 Bridge: a $50 copay for Wegovy, Zepbound or Foundayo through December 31, 2027, for Part D enrollees with a BMI of 35 or more, or lower with specific heart, stroke, artery, blood-pressure, kidney or prediabetes conditions. Type 2 diabetes, moderate-to-severe sleep apnea and MASH are covered through regular Part D instead.
Does New Hampshire require an in-person visit before a doctor can prescribe?
No. RSA 329:1-c defines the physician-patient relationship as one formed by an in-person examination or an examination using telemedicine, and New Hampshire expressly permits asynchronous interactions. The telemedicine statute's only questionnaire prohibition concerns eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions; New Hampshire's Controlled Drug Act separately bars controlled-substance prescriptions generated from an online medical history form, and semaglutide and tirzepatide are not controlled substances. Your prescriber does have to hold a New Hampshire licence.
What does New Hampshire require of a pharmacy compounding sterile injections?
A detailed paper trail. Beyond New Hampshire registration and a board permit, a pharmacy shipping sterile compounded preparations in must supply USP 795 and 797 inspection reports, hood certification and environmental monitoring — and file a six-month itemised inventory of everything it has shipped into New Hampshire.
